Our Mission Statement
Located in the Piedmont of North Carolina, we are a club of avid saltwater anglers dedicated to the sport of saltwater sport fishing. We enjoy our sport to the fullest and understand that a strong conservation ethic is vital to passing along a healthy sportfishing resource to the next generation. We strongly support Catch and Release and believe that together we can ensure that our children and their children will have great saltwater fishing for years to come. Following is a message and invitation from the president of the WS Club:
I am Steve Craven, President of the Winston Salem Saltwater Sport Fishing Club. We are having a speaker in July from the South Brunswick School System who are hatching and raising and releasing flounder into the inland waterways and canals around Oak Island. This is as far as I know a one of a kind program for flounder and I think it would be interesting to some of your members. I have had the pleasure of attending some of your meetings when you have guest speakers I find very interesting and I would like to invite your folks that might want to attend and hear this program. Our July meeting will be the 14th and we meet at the Golden Corral in the Hanes Mall parking area. Would like to see some of your people join us. Thanks for your consideration.
